World No. 1 Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka has commented on her advancement to the final of the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami, USA. In the semi-finals, she overcame Italian player Jasmine Paolini with a score of 6-2, 6-2.
“Jasmine is an incredible player. I knew that I would have to fight for every point,” Sabalenka stated.
“I tried to focus on my serve, tried to get as low as possible because her shots were deep and flat. I concentrated on my court movement. I am very pleased with how I played today,” Sabalenka said after the match.
