World No. 17 Andrey Rublev made a visit to the Bambino Gesù Children`s Hospital in the Vatican ahead of his scheduled participation in the tournament in Rome.
The Russian tennis player`s charitable foundation has revealed plans to cooperate with the hospital. Their mutual goal is to provide assistance to foreign children who are dealing with severe or rare medical conditions and require specialized treatment.
During his visit, Andrey toured the hospital, spending time with the dedicated staff and interacting with some of the young patients.
A statement shared by the foundation on social media detailed their commitment: “Our mission is focused on offering financial aid to children suffering from difficult illnesses, and we look forward to helping many patients from different countries in the coming years.”
