Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev has commented on the beginning of his collaboration with Marat Safin. Rublev admitted that he is currently unsure about what this partnership will lead to.
Safin has joined the coaching team of the Russian player.
“We have an easy connection. It`s simple things like `Move your feet`.”
Currently, we are focusing more on the tennis side of things, paying attention to that aspect. I`m not sure if it’s a mental aspect or not. We will see how things go at tournaments.
“I myself still don`t know what might come out of this and how it will unfold. An opportunity just presented itself, I felt it was worth trying – and that`s it, we agreed. And what will come of it – it`s as much a mystery for us as it is for everyone,” Rublev said in an interview with `Bolshe!`.
