Alexander Volkanovski, preparing for UFC 314, where he might have one of his last fights, seems to be exploring new career paths.

This Saturday, Volkanovski will fight Diego Lopes for the featherweight title, aiming to become a two-time champion. Leading up to the fight, the Australian fighter released a funny video where he reveals a secret life as a musician and producer.

Watch the entertaining video below.

Volkanovski has previously created popular comedy sketches where he played an “Old Man Volk” character, making fun of critics who said he was past his prime. Even though this character didn`t bring him luck at UFC 298 when he lost his featherweight title to Ilia Topuria, Volkanovski brought it back.

This time, Volkanovski takes fans on a musical journey, parodying various music styles—he mentioned that he isn`t actually singing in the video—from pop and grunge to Eurovision-style songs, hair metal, country, and more. The video includes references to famous bands like Nirvana and The Beatles, even comparing Volkanovski to Paul McCartney.

Volkanovski also jokes about his desire for his 27th win and joining the “27 Club,” a dark humor reference to famous musicians who died at age 27, like Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, and Amy Winehouse.

This new skit follows Volkanovski recently demonstrating his singing during a UFC 314 press conference, where he spontaneously sang Secondhand Serenade’s “Fall for You” to Lopes.
