World No. 11 Australian Alex de Minaur has shared his perspective on the playing conditions at Wimbledon.
He successfully advanced to the third round on July 3rd after defeating France`s Arthur Cazaux in a four-set match.
“Some players appreciate this surface, others don`t. From my viewpoint, it hasn`t significantly altered over the past few years.
However, the game itself has become notably slower. This results in longer rallies, with players even sliding on the grass. I believe the fans find this enjoyable, as it brings more competition and excitement,” the Australian stated during his press conference.
De Minaur`s upcoming opponent will be Denmark`s August Holmgren, who is currently ranked World No. 192 in the ATP rankings.
