World number three Carlos Alcaraz has announced he will be playing with a knee brace at the upcoming Rome Masters tournament.
The Spanish player confirmed he had already been training with the knee brace in the lead-up to the season.
The 22-year-old is set to begin his campaign at the tournament with a match against Serbia`s Dusan Lajovic. Alcaraz had previously mentioned his hope of facing Italy`s Jannik Sinner in the final of the Masters event. According to the source text, Sinner recently concluded a three-month disqualification period for an anti-doping rule violation.
