The PGA Tour is heading to Augusta National this week for the year`s first major tournament, the 89th Masters Tournament. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, the defending champion, leads a strong field of players all vying for the coveted green jacket. Scheffler, who won last year`s tournament by four strokes over Ludvig Åberg, is aiming for his third green jacket in the past four years. The only golfer to achieve three green jackets in a four-year period is Jack Nicklaus (1963, 1965, and 1966). This year`s champion will also receive $3.6 million from the total purse of $20 million.
Broadcast coverage of the Masters, including live broadcasts of the first and second rounds starting Thursday and Friday at 3 p.m. ET, will be available.
