Bolivian player Juan Carlos Prado, currently ranked 314th in the world, has captured his first ATP Challenger title. He defeated Peruvian Gonzalo Bueno, ranked 309th, in the final of the clay court tournament held in Lima, Peru.
Prado secured the victory in straight sets with a score of 6/4, 7/5.
The match lasted for a total of two hours.
As the champion, the 20-year-old Prado will receive $8,350 in prize money and earn 50 valuable ranking points. Gonzalo Bueno, as the finalist, will be awarded $4,910 and 25 ranking points.
